Playing pool is not as easy as it seems. However with certain tips, you can be a fairly prolific scorer. First of all, you have to possess a brilliant grip and glide. You may practice your grip even on the coffee table. The stick has to slide on your thumb-forefinger grip like butter-milk; and yet with perfection.
You should also be sure on your hand-eye coordination. Check the exact position of the cue ball and object ball and place them in a direct line. From there, take your shot.
You will have to practice draw shots with precision. These shots will bring the cue ball back to take a shot at different object ball. For angled balls, your practice level has to be upgraded as these require hitting at exact spots. Cushion shots meanwhile may give your results even if you miss somewhat from desired position.
You should also play shots that put cue balls in dangerous spots if you feel you cannot pot. Your opponent should not be served easy meat. There are certain spin shots; with top spin shots being most popular, that somehow dodge an interfering ball. Either you loop the cue ball over the obstacle to your object ball or place the cue ball directly behind the obstacle.
