Beginners’ tips and tricks to play tennis confidently

Lawn tennis or tennis is an extremely popular sport that promises good prize money. Many people are entering the fray although the game requires too much hard work.

First of all, you need to develop a strict diet that never allows an added ounce on your belly. You will need to cover grounds fast while playing and so work on your stamina. Then choose the correct tennis racquet; preferably a 26 or 27-size racquet. Try wielding it in hand a few times before doing actual practice. You have to master the racquet movements as you will do with accelerator of a bike. For drop shots, the racquet rolls in your hands, while for smashes it stays firm.

You also need to strengthen your shoulder muscles as you will have to serve profusely. Each serve takes a toll on your shoulders. When you couple them with forehand shots, you will realize the actual torque. The trick to be a good player is to at least be a specialist of two shots. There are many: Serves, backhands, forehands, lobs and drop shots. If you are not a strong server, focus on our returning quality. Also increase your pace of covering your side quicker than your opponent. Keep your options open before playing a shot.
